We are a Harlingen - based musical group with deep roots in South Texas
Rock-n-Roll. Ralph Escobedo, drummer and lead singer, began in the 1960's
with a band known as The Cruisers.  

Over the late 60's and early 70's that band evolved with different members
as some were drafted or moved away.

Eventually, the band dissolved but rock-n-roll remained a love for Ralph.  
He continued playing with different groups over the years,
and after returning to Harlingen from Austin in 2003, he formed a group
and called it THE CRUISERS.  Today, that group has evolved with a few
new members and the band is now called RALPH & THE CRUISERS.

The band plays a variety of musical genres with oldies Rock-n-Roll as the
core of their repertoire.  This includes Pop, Rock, Country, Blues, Latin,
and Jazz with a focus on Hits and Standards from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.  
With a particular affinity for members of the Baby Boom Generation,
their wide variety of music appeals to a diverse range of ages.
