Empty Pockets String Band is a hot new acoustic band featuring
bluegrass music in the style of Earl Scruggs and Bill Monroe.
These four veteran musicians became acquainted by chance in 2006
at a jam session in south Texas.
They have been playing music together ever since.
The group features Bob Price playing the 5-string banjo and vocals,
Lea Price on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Rick Dakon on mandolin
and frailing banjo, and Gail Dakon on bass, fiddle, and vocals.
Toe-tapping songs and instrumentals, sacred gospels,
melodically pleasing vocal harmonies and clean comedy
provide a very crowd-pleasing performance.
