Due to family illness Jack Nelson will not be in the Valley this season.
However, the County Line Band will be performing at the scheduled
events shown below. Be sure to catch the classic country music that you
have been enjoying from THE COUNTY LINE BAND and get
re-acquainted with Paul Anderson on keyboards, Les Welch on drums,
Cliff Guillemette on bass, Danny Williams on lead guitar and featuring
Dennis Perry lead vocals and rhythm guitar.
Jack would like to say to Hi and Thanks to all of our followers for your
past support and he looks forward to being back in the Valley for the
2012-2013 season.
In February, 2008, Jack was the recipient of the Male Vocalist Award at the Rio Grande Valley Music Festival in Mercedes, Texas. His
easy listening style is well suited to the broad range of “Classic Country” music that he performs including hits from Tom T. Hall, Randy
Travis, Merle Haggard, Hank Snow, George Jones, Johnny Cash and many, many more. His shows are often referred to as a journey
through the “history of country music”. Through his career Jack has performed at Dauphin Country Fest and Wee Fest in Detroit Lakes,
opening for Little Texas. Jack has also done guest appearances at “The Palace” in Nashville and also appeared with Tommy Cash,
George Morgan and other Nashville entertainers. Highlights of his performances in Manitoba included the “Manitoba Academy of
Country Music Awards” shows in 1996 and 1997 where he was nominated male vocalist. In addition to special event bookings
throughout Manitoba, engagements also include performances at the South Beach Casino in Grand Beach and the Club Regent and
McPhillips Street Station Casinos in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
During Jack's absence Dennis Perry will be filling in on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Dennis is a member of the professional musicians
and entertainers club of Iowa. In 2007, 2008 & 2009 he was named First Place Male Vocalist at the music festival in Avoca, IA.
Throughout his professional history, the music of Ray Price has always been the main influence of Dennis' style.
