For the first time in years, The Scafe Brothers reunite and will join up with Jay & Tammy Variety Music and Lefty Schrage for a New Years Bash at The Alamo Rec Veh Park located at 1320 W. Frontage Rd. Alamo, Texas.

This repertoire includes selections from Swing, The Big Band Era, Classic Country, Western, Gospel, 50s & 60s Rock n Roll, Bluegrass and Perennial Favorites of the Pop Charts and Artists.

As Entertainers, Jay & Tammy have acquired a reputation for reading the audience and quickly establishing a rapport.

Bruce and David Scafe grew up in a musical family in Chicago.

Bruce Scafe plays trumpet. As a teenager he soon had his own band and went on to be a soloist with the esteemed University of Illinois Jazz Band.

After touring with The Les Elgart Orchestra he began teaching music as a band director. Soon he moved into his music television career developing shows like "The Session" and culminating with the creation and direction of "Austin City Limits".

David Scafe developed his passion for drumming thru endless coaching on time and feel from brother Bruce. Soon David was teaching many at the local neighborhood music store. At no time at all he was in several of the top rock bands in Chicago. After touring the nation he settled in Central Texas again teaching and performing from the 80's till present.

Lefty Schrage plays Steel Guitar. He has hosted for 23 years The North East Iowa Steel Guitar Show and coordinated the program, Jump Start Academy, which helps aspiring students learn to play steel guitar.

This year 5 students went to perform at The International Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis, Missouri which also aired on SteelGuitarRadio.com where over 500,000 listeners tuned in.

Lefty has a band called Wichita with his three sons. He played with The Bobby Hankins Band which opened for and backed up several traditional country music artists.
