The have the buffet, omelet station,and will also fry eggs. There is fresh fruit, sweet rolls, etc. Coffee and juice are included in the price for seniors. It is a great place to eat, very comfortable tables and chairs. Try it, you will like it!!!" _ _ _ _ _ Hardy Pottinger says "Texas Road House in McAllen is one of our favorites. It's at 1224 E Jackson in McAllen. I like their baked sweet potato and the 'road kill' (hamburger steak). And it comes with an infinite supply of hot rolls! The service has always been good too. There's usually a bit of a wait though and it's on the noisy side." _ _ _ _ _ A few of us went to Texas Roadhouse last Friday for dinner. We used one of the tater skins coupons. It was good! Its right on the water and is open air so you can really enjoy the sunsets. They have wonderful seafood and burgers and have live music Wednesdays through Sundays for your enjoyment in the evenings as you watch the sunset. They have daily lunch specials and a happy hour too. Just turn west on Palm Street and go until the road meets the laguna madre." _ _ _ _ _ Barbara Brooker says, "Gonzales Burgers on Silver Ave. in Donna, has no sign on the front of the building, but a great many Winter Texans do not need one! It is the best place for a burger in the valley. Their hours of operation are from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM. If you go once I am sure you will go again! I've always found their breakfast and lunch menu items Wonderful as well as inexpensive. In the short time they've been in business, Angel's has quickly become very popular with the locals as well as Winter Texans from nearby RV parks. Well worth the drive. To get to Angel's, drive west toward Penitas (west of Mission), then north on Tom Gill Rd. Turn left on Mile 7 and you'll see their sign on the left. The service was fast. The excellent authentic Mexican food arrived hot and very tasty. I would highly recommend La Justicia." _ _ _ _ _ Anonymous - EL PATIO in EDINBURG - SMALL MOM AND POP CAFE. The salads are very fresh & tasty! Their bread is absolutely Wonderful!!!" _ _ _ _ _ "There is a new Texas Roadhouse in Harlingen, just in front of Lowe's at the Ed Carey exit off of Highway 77. It is scheduled to open August 18. Also, the new Logan's Road House in Harlingen is open. Take the Dixieland Road exit (especially while southbound toward Brownsville). If you headed from Brownsville toward McAllen, take the Dixieland Road exit, and go to the new Kohl's behind Target. You'll see Logan's from there."
